Definitely maybe - probably not

Another day of bugger all. The roofers came yesterday about 12 and then Bruce from Econobuilt came for about an hour and briefed them.. In that time the guys got 2 sheets of coloursteel on.. didn't finish trimming them and then left.... ??? !!! ?? I get the feeling someone is taking the piss.
The guys said that they would be here at 07:30 today (Saturday) to get on with it.. great news since the weather forecast is turning nasty. I had an all night Tonga flight and got home about 0630 feeling like crap as usual. No roofers today.. the wind picked up about 10:30 but by dark there had been very little rain. What a bunch of %$#&%!! roofers are. Vicki seemed sure that one more week would be the end of the camper.. I doubt that although money will be getting a bit stretched by then.. this thing isn't cheap.
On the positive side, I made a small concrete pad for the water pump to mount on and its pumphouse cover to fit on.. about 1000 X 800mm pretty basic but it needed to be done. I also hung the door from the workshop to the utility room. I couldn't use a pre-hung door since the studs were 150mm deep and nobody had one suitable so I just did a bit of DIY.. turned out OK.. not awesome but a blind man would be pleased to see it. Not bad for a first time. Oh.. and I proved what I already knew.. plastering isn't nearly as easy as it looks and I'm bloody hopeless at it... I was plastering the Aqualine behind the shower so I can seal it before the shower goes in. I can't line any more since we need to get a pre-line inspection from the council before we can continue.. and we need to have the cladding on before we can do that.. guess who we are waiting for to do that.. see the start.
Vicki did some painting of the fence once she decided it wasn't actually going to rain.
We have not been enjoying the showers we normally like so Michelle and Noel let us come up to their new house and have a nice shower.. they know what its like to rough it for a while. Very nice of them. We felt clean again if only for a while.
