This is a sneak preview of the colour of our walls (the light colour) and the roof (the dark brown)...

Here's hoping the rain will clear enough for them to actually stick it all on this week!!

Clifton filled in my ruts for me - I had tried with wheelbarrow fulls of dirt but progress was slow - he just dumped a whole truck load of dirt on it!! Then rolled over it with his digger.


I have sore muscles, and therefore a headache (shoulders, back and arms) from shovelling bark yesterday!

Here's a photo of the rain scooting round us yesterday - won't be doing that today I don't think though.
This is Clifton and George discussing the in's and out's of the burial of the earth wire. The trough is now in and connected - just need the other end connected to water now.


Tim popped by to go over what post and rail I wanted done for the remainder of the fence.

Do you think it's safe for me to leave the plumber, electrician, and drainlayer up there tomorrow alone without being there to supervise?? Me being a girl and everything...

Sold the lounge suite (one of them) as we won't need it in the new house (and don't have room for it in the barn) but the people that bought it didn't show today to pick it up. Very annoying!
