Sparks !!

Yay..  I mean YAY!!!  We have sparks..  Finally all the holes in the cheese lined up and the electricity was connected. Not without taking a few years off Vicki's life but it is finally connected.

Our really cool idea was to have the meter at the gate so the meter reader doesn't need to come in. Here it is looking like a Darlec.... "exterminate - - - EXTERMINATE" (a touch of Doctor Who humour)...  But there's a catch.. this is a worm's eye view and you still can't see the meter... Hmm.. oh well  this can wait.. at least Vicki can plug in her hairdryer and it will work !!  (Actually she took her hairdryer up to test the electricity so I will get a few miles out of that)

When I went to write this blog I pushed the "New post" button and got this photo..

Actually not.. but this IS a photo of our handy work installing the insulators onto the posts for the electric fence.. its a lot of fun.. I'm really looking forward to running the lines and powering it up.. not looking forward to running the earth wires much .. I bloody hate digging ! If I was supposed to dig I'd look like a Rabbit or something.. Maybe I could tell Mini (The neighbour's Great Dane) that there is a bone buried there or something.
