The fence rails I ordered turned up today as promised just after lunch. This gave me something to do for the afternoon. I had considered flying to Raglan for something to do but this was a bit more productive. Getting the rails to fit was a bit of a challenge as the posts had twisted a bit toward the top so it gave my bevel (and my brain) a bit of a workout.
The fencing has been quite fun.. I had to concrete the posts in since I wouldn't be a real Richards if I didn't concrete everything in site. Concreting these posts in was quite a big job too since the holes Tim made were bloody big. In fact he bought his auger second hand.. in its previous life it was one of the channel tunnel drills!!
The builders won't be here for another week - they are still fishing - just kidding - apprently they worked through Xmas on another job.
