Hah - well the painters did arrive and WOW they work fast - the first coat is on the whole place paart from the west wing - it looks really nice. The rooms look so much bigger again!
We went to Carters today to try and find the Hettich cutlery drawer inserts we wanted for the drawers. Of course - the drawers we have are not standard but it should work. We went to the joinery place to measure the insides of the drawrs so we were able to see our kitchen being built, and the laundry bench was done.
We got home and the bathroom cabinets had arrived - so VERY EXCITING!!
