We had 20mm of rain last night and as I was awake for most of the two hours of rain I am really looking forward to the first heavy rain in the new house because I will be able to sleep.
Today we bought a new super king 80% duck down duvet inner for the new Super King bed. It was $369 at Briscoes but today they had 50% off so we got it for $180. We had seen a similar duvet in a fancy bed shop last week for $699!
The one we have at the moment is so cosy in winter - in fact I think this one is going to be too hot for the new house. They had 50% down ones too but I can always wait till the next sale - they always have them. As my Dad says "it's pretty bad luck if you go to Briscoes and there is no sale on".
George got two glassses too because we smashed the last one, we have lost 5 coffee cups and three glasses since we have been here (concrete floor to blame). We'll have to be careful with the tiles won't we.
The plasterer is here again today -he is such a hard worker.
