We flew to Raglan for the day - had breakfast, and Affogato and coffee and banana cake there in three different cafes throughout the day. In between times we walked through town and also along the beach giving our feet a good wash and sand!

On our way back we had to take all the fallen leaves off!

This is the Muriwai Beach Horse park... where you park your floats and then ride in the forest (to the left) or beach (in foreground) - you can see the track to the beach.

It's George's birthday today! And guess what he got? The trusses arrived for the house on a big truck!

As we were leaving home we got this photo. It's a great angle.

We flew over home both ways to take some more photos.
It was a really hot day - even up at 2000 feet it was still 22 degrees.

George checking out the steel across the double garage.

Big pile of trusses and other bits and pieces.

When we got home the builders were just leaving for the long weekend so we had a look around. They have been putting up the frames for the eves and also for the parking area by the front door, and George was really excited about his TV in the wall area (literally jumping for joy!).
