The mandarins are looking better since we hooked up the irrigation. Well most - this one doesn't but the bottom half looks good - I cut the top half off.
Garbo spent the morning wishing he was inside with the carrots - can you see him.?
Rain is due this week - George has his doubts if we will actually get it. But we do actually need it so I hope it does arrive. Mind you I have a forest ride on Tuesday morning so maybe all except then.
These pictures were taken today, it was 28 degrees and no breeze.
The grass is actually crunchy in some places, I had just let them into the track - hence the green areas in the photo - they'll be gone tomorrow. The ground is cracking in some places too - it's hard to believe it was only 5 months ago when everything was so wet we thought it would never dry.
