Got half a wine barrel today and some tub mix and planted some lavender and some grasses, it's out the front of the barn (or back depending on which way you think about the section)...
Also planted some flaxes behind the grisilineas which we have replanted in the wetter areas.

I'm jealous I have soo wanted some wine barrels to plant some goodies lol, our humpy is not far from the Hunter Valley and we have been talking about going over there and getting a couple. They are such a neat size and you can fit quite a few plants or herbs

they were $49 - pretty good considering I saw them in Whakatane for $79. It was fun drilling a couple of holes in the bottom with George's drill.
Emptying them took a lot of drinking though !
Still dizzy.. LOL..
