We had a whole day of sunshine thanks goodness and at least two more days due. I have taken some 'Day 1' mud photos so we can keep a track of how long it takes to dry out in each area. I'll take some each day until it rains again.
This is the gateway - the water from the drive, and top of right of way - flows into this area, as well as the water tank overflow ....
This is an area just below where the office part of the house is... here and above here gets very wet for some reason....hence the buttercup.
This is below where the house will go...near the magnolia tree....
And this area stays really dry - just in front of the caboodle. In front of the watertank I guess.
There was a frost on the grass this morning at 7.30am when I put the boys out!
It's easy to complain about the rain and the mud at this time of the year but it's just so cool when the sun is out looking at this amazing view, in this amazing location, our little piece of paradise... and being able to see the horses, play with the horses etc when ever I want to -it's just so cool. We are so lucky. We are so thankful for everything we have.
