Nearly sorted

So - we have the hay shed full.... that's a nice feeling heading into winter. Still have room for more but didn't stack it too far forward in case we get a north easterly (and it would get wet). I have to organise a tarp for a door.

The guttering is on, and today the downpipes were installed too. So now we are all set for rain (and to get some more water in the tank). I think we got 2500 gallons after it was built, and I think we have about a third left.

I brought Garbo up for a bath yesterday - on to the new concrete in the tie up area. And today I gave him a big brush and we even did a bit of ground work - so feel almost back to normal!

We are meeting with Harmony Homes on Thursday to see how much the new house will cost!

It got down to 5 degrees last night - we went to bed about 9.30pm but today was a stunner - lovely and clear and cool, and sunny. Funny hey - we are ready for rain now.... and nothing on the horizon really.

Hi Jen
We had a little rain last night - about 100 gallons in the tank extra which is great.

Piebald is black and white and skewbald is brown and white - or visa versa - not sure which is what... Cilla may know??
