We had a fab trip - lots of shopping - not too much crap American food (yay for Southern California) and lots of driving, lots of Starbucks! George and I both got new clothes, new sunnies and some R&R.

Just arrived in LA and heading to OC - not too tired |
 |
We headed to the South Coast Plaza for a looksie and dinner |

Shopping by lunch Day 1 |

One drawer full after Day 1 |
 |
Next day was Carlos and Shawn shopping (AberCrombie & Fitch) |
 |
The most amazing Vegan restaurant!! |
 |
How cute are these... from Walmart - Good ole Walmart |
Day 4 we headed to Riverside about 40 minutes from the Hotel - and the weather was just amazing - lovely cool air and blue sky. The freeways were 4-5 lanes wide.
George found Aircraft Spruce where he has shopped alot at for his plane in the past and will use it when he comes next year.
In the carpark - why would you need the car that far from the wheels?
Drive through Starbucks!!!
Riverside was a cute little town, this road was on the way back to the freeway - near the mountains as you can see. The Californians are so chirpy - so friendly and the service just amazing.

Our Hotel - Hilton Costa Mesa - with Starbucks in the foreground in the foyer. Very handy indeed. |
 |
There is a little bunch of food and other places in the place just down the road called The Camp. And in there was this - native Foods - the most amazing Vegan restaurant - and soo soo yummy. |
 |
On our last afternoon we went back to the Camp and found this organic coffee place called milk & honey. Very nice. Would definitely go back to Orange County. Great place. On the way back to the airport we went along the beachfront and that looks lovely too. So much to see - so little time...
